Karlen & Associates Insurance Services has consistently stood up for those without a voice. Our newest community initiative wholeheartedly supports Fifty Shades of Furry (FSOF) and their mission. The joy of pet ownership, while immeasurable, comes hand-in-hand with significant duties.

FSOF is a non-profit organization that provides pet owners with the highest level of pet care to ensure their four-legged friend can live a happy, healthy life at a low cost. They offer services such as rescuing animals from shelters, providing medical care, and finding forever homes for them, as well as educating the public on the importance of spaying and neutering pets and responsible pet ownership.

Here's your chance to lend a hand to a furry friend in need. Our agency will focus its cause campaign efforts for the next three months on facilitating the adoption of some of the city's most disadvantaged pets. There are many ways you can help make a difference in the lives of homeless animals, even if you are unable to adopt or foster them. One of the best ways to help homeless pets get the care they need and deserve before finding their fur-ever homes is to volunteer or make a financial contribution.

Since 1927, the Baltimore Humane Society has tended to homeless and abandoned animals, providing them with a temporary shelter before connecting them with their forever home. Much like our agency, they are committed to serving all in our community, even if those in need have four legs and a tail.

Over the years; the Karlen Agency has been collectively working together to support a series of local initiatives and outreach programs intended to provide support to deserving families & children in an effort to improve comfort and quality of life for them. With that being said for the next 90 days, we are proud to be directing all donations raised through our Rewards Program to the Baltimore Humane Society.

Maryland Foodbank is leading the movement and nurturing the belief that together; we can improve the lives of Marylanders by ending hunger. This is why we have selected to raise funds and awareness for their organization. We believe no one should go hungry during the COVID-19 pandemic. With school closures, job disruptions, and health risks, millions of Americans will turn to food banks for much-needed support. They can’t do it alone, and you can help. So, we’re now advocating and directing monetary rewards to this very cause.

Brooke's House's mission is to inspire and empower women suffering from substance use disorders by providing them a safe, stable, and emotionally supportive living environment while in the early stages of recovery. By providing a home, counseling services, and social enterprises, this incredible organization has been able to help multiple women get a second chance.

The Boy Scouts is an internationally recognized program that aims to impact the lives of kids and young teens by targeting comprehensive and all-encompassing skills. We love the work they do and our goal is to provide support to their educational and character-building programs, core life values and encourage healthy lifestyle decisions for little ones.
